At FlyCast, we strive to offer anglers the most up-to-date fly fishing reports, forecasts and information while bringing both industry professionals and participants together to form a collaborative and supportive community. At the end of the day, we’re all just a bunch of hopelessly addicted anglers with big fish and our next adventure on our mind. In the spirit of community and complete transparency, we’re excited to announce the release of our Lite Rivers Reporting Program!

Traditionally, we’ve provided you with robust daily and weekly reporting on some of the most popular rivers and creeks across the state of Colorado. And while we will eventually offer the same coverage for all the major Colorado and western state waterways, we’ve decided the next best step toward this goal is to offer anglers a Lite, or seasonal, version of our bread and butter reports while we continue to scale. The FlyCast Lite reports offer anglers a high level overview of seasonal conditions and general fly fishing tactics and will be updated in the event of a substantial change that alters fly fishing conditions as opposed to daily and weekly.

FlyCast Lite reports include the same helpful information as our traditional reports like flows, suggested flies, daily forecasts, detailed river background and access points, but are intended to offer a more generalized and holistic narrative when it comes to fly fishing. In the meantime, keep an eye out as we transition the Lite Reports to our traditional reporting program.
